While staying in Nice, Paul was invited by Lacour, an unorthodox physician and homeopath, to prepare Sun Bread using his friend's recipe. Quality raw materials were used as the basis, including flour ground on stones, well or rain water, sea salt, homemade yeast, and the best quality olive oil.
Finally, the loaves were exposed to the direct rays of the Mediterranean sun to imbue them with positive energy. Only those who touched the dough with love and respect could ensure that this dish would maintain its beneficial qualities.
Lacour believed that Paul was one of the few people who could knead the dough with complete confidence, according to his verification.
